Well, I have been in Guatemala for two weeks now, and due to the requests of certain friends, I begin my blogging career. So, for those who wish to hear about my life in San Lucas I hope you will enjoy checking in every now and again. Although I can't promise how faithful of a blogger I will be, I will do my very best. Thanks for all your notes and prayers thus far.
This is me atop Volcan Pacaya, an active volcano in Guatemala. Let me tell you it was smokin' hot! We actually roasted marshmallows. When I get the picture of that I will be sure to post it. In the picture to the right you can see the smoke pouring out the top. it was crazy to see lava moving just beneath my feet. Needless to say I did not stick around too long.

Great to hear that you didn't fall into the volcano! Sounds like a lot of fun! Well, we hope you are settling in well. Know that your church family is praying for you!
